Created through a special collaboration with the City of Los Angeles, the LA Original Concrete object celebrates the city's creative spirit through thoughtful design and enduring materials.

As the selected maker for the LA Original program, I partnered with the City of Los Angeles to create a sculptural object that reflects the character of the city—bold, modern, and built to last. Each piece is individually hand-cast from concrete, transforming an everyday desk accessory into a timeless design object.

Whether used as a paperweight, displayed on a bookshelf, or styled as part of a curated workspace, its minimalist form brings a quiet architectural presence to any environment. The natural texture of concrete ensures that every piece is subtly unique, making each one a small work of functional art.
